My Typically Zany Yet Educational Experience: My hair styling experience was becoming exasperating. It was during the heart of summer and my hair was frizzing and definitely did not look salon perfect. Especially at the trip I took to ride the roller coasters at Six Flags. I’m sure it didn’t help that I had swam in chlorine without protecting my hair first and had just recently highlighted my color treated blonde hair. One day the ponytail elastic in my hair got caught in a frizzy, humidity-baked bird’s nest that I was referring to as my “hairstyle”... In my mind I told myself that I was being sloppy-chic, but in my heart I knew it wasn’t pretty at all. And definitely not the least bit chic. I was using a two year old ceramic iron when it dawned on me that maybe the technology had since improved in ceramic irons. While walking through Best Buy one day with a messy knot on top of my head, I saw it! The product promised “All Day Anti-Frizz Protection even in Humidity”. “Up to 65% less frizz all day!” the box shouted at me. This all sounded too good to be true. When I saw that the product won a Good Housekeeping VIP Award I was salivating and sold. I bought mine at Best Buy. The Remington Frizz Iron Review: OMG! You would not believe how much better my hair looks! A person who is very blunt and critical about appearances complimented my hair effusively. My hair has bounce, body, and springs back to life. I was so impressed with the springiness of my hair that I layered it. Then I kept tossing it around, head-banging if you will, to see what it could withstand. I bet it could even withstand a roller coaster! My hair even looks significantly better on rainy days, this straightening iron is definitely a year-round hair styling dream device! Used with Garnier Blow Dry Perfector (see my review) and I found the hair of my dreams. Now, excuse me if I shake my hair around a little more!
